PTA is the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy association. For over 125 years, PTA members have been behind historic achievements like child labor laws, the federal school lunch program, and more. Your membership supports PTA advocacy at our school, in our local community, in our state and on Capitol Hill.

How are my membership dues utilized?
For every $15 or $10 membership registration,
$4.75 goes to Virginia PTA
$2.00 goes to National PTA
These contributions at both the state and national levels provide our Mountain View PTA chapter with insurance coverage, 501(c)3 status, legal counsel if necessary, and access to educational resources, grant programs, awards and training.
Remaining membership dues go directly to the Mountain View PTA budget for implementing programs throughout the year.
