Fall Session Begins 11/4/26; PTA Members Receive Early Sign-Up
After School Activties are offered at Mountain View in both the Fall and Spring. Teachers and staff lead activities with a wide array of themes to choose from. The activities are held for an hour after school, once or twice per week, for six weeks. The PTA always notifies families of After School Activitiy sign-ups through flyers, emails and Moose Tracks. These activities are very popular and fill up fast! If you are a PTA member, you can take advantage of the early sign-up membership benefit!
Classes being offered will be announced prior to registration.
Every Fall, Mountain View students participate in a school-wide Walk-a-Thon as a way to encourage physical fitness and raise funds to support school activities. Students seek out donations from family and friends, enter into fun contests for prizes, and celebrate on Walk-a-Thon day with music, team spirit and fun!

Throughout the school year, the PTA sponsors various assemblies for students to learn beyond the classroom. School assemblies that feature special guests offer unique and enriching experiences for students. Whether it's a local leader, author, artist, or expert in a specific field, guest speakers bring fresh perspectives and real-world insights that can inspire and educate beyond the classroom. These assemblies spark curiosity, broaden horizons, and often leave a lasting impression—making learning more dynamic and relevant.
The courtyard inside Mountain View has recently undergone some extensive changes as the school Green Team is working to create an outdoor learning space. Teachers are the heart of our school, and we look forward to this week of celebration and thanks to honor their commitment to our students! We all need a bit of sunshine from time to time, and our Sunshine Committee is always looking for ways to bring joy for our teachers and staff. Birthday treats, coffee pods and teacher lounge supplies, and get well baskets are little reminders to our team that their presence in our children's lives is so important. Feeling appreciated is something that everyone appreciates.
The PTA sponsored monthly coffee cart for teachers and staff is a highlight that everyone marks on their calendars! Fresh coffee and donuts are loaded onto a cart and paraded around our halls to bring a little happiness to all!
Each year, the PTA extends an opportunity for all teachers to apply for a classroom grant that can be used for purchasing goods and equipment needed for classroom enhancements and projects. These funds are dedicated to helping teachers to refresh their supplies and introduce special items in their classrooms.
