The Loudoun Education Alliance of Families (LEAF) is an advisory group voice for parents to elevate educational concerns and provide feedback to the board on current or proposed policies or issues facing the School Board. It is made up of many volunteer representatives from schools throughout the county, and through their involvement, ensures that parental concerns are heard and considered as a regular part of policy making.
The LEAF Representative for Mountain View will attend monthly meetings of the advisory group, sharing their perspective to support decision-making and actions taken by the Board. They will also engage with MTV school administration and the PTA to share learning, feedback and information that has been presented through the LEAF advisory group.
This handbook is intended to provide a general understanding of LEAF's mission, protocols, and procedures for the management of the committee.
